I’m Madalena - I’m from the most beautiful island in the world - Madeira Island, Portugal - and currently helping shape the future of renewable energy at AmpX.

With a B.A. in industrial design, my journey has led me towards visual design, focusing on marketing, branding and webdesign for a few years and later specialising in User Experience & User Interface.
I’m currently working remotely as a UX/UI Designer at AmpX - a disruptive grid edge digital energy platform. Before this, I worked both as a freelancer and in-house designer for 4+ years, for big tech companies like NOS to small startups like Newmanity, from coworking spaces in Lisbon to dreamy villas in Bali.
When I’m not working, I love planning trips, driving my scooter, listening to the ocean, doing yoga first thing in the morning, eating way too much pasta, devouring all sorts of pastries and binge-watching netflix.
Besides that, I love turning problems into beautiful and intuitive solutions.
